Lost and Found: Return of My Mysterious Fiancee

Chapter 914: The Brookes Family's Wedding Gifts

Alina was dazzled by the luxurious hehuan fan in front of her. She reached out and hugged Angela, exclaiming, "Angela, I've received your thoughtful gift! This fan is so beautiful-I'll keep it in my room every day! It's absolutely stunning!" Brandon squeezed past his brothers and stood in front of Alina, adding on Angela's behalf, "Alina, this fan took Angela more than a week to make! She personally gathered the materials, had it designed by a master, and worked on it every day Brandon spoke so passionately that he nearly moved himself to tears. Truly, Angela was the best Angela in the world!

from morning to night, only stopping for meals!"

Angela's cheeks flushed pink with embarrassment. Seeing Brandon's enthusiasm, she softly said, "I'm clumsy with my hands. Some parts of this fan were made with Brandon's help-he taught me and worked alongside me. This is a wedding gift from both of us to you!"noveldrama

Alina's mouth formed an exaggerated "O" as she drew out her response, eliciting hearty laughter from the Brookes brothers and Ian.

Hearing Angela say it was a joint gift, Brandon felt a warm rush spread through him. His eyes sparkled like stars as he transformed into a loyal and obedient puppy, howling in his heart.

Isaac stepped forward and sniffled, "Alina, it feels like you just came back, and now you're already getting married. I'm not as skilled as Angela, so I bought you a few sea-view houses in Paris. You can stay there with Ruud while on your honeymoon."

Gavin patted Isaac on the back. "Isaac, it's Alina's big day-why are you crying? Wipe your tears away..." But as he spoke, Gavin's own eyes reddened. Choking up, he said, "Alina, you've been back for so long, and I haven't spent much time with you. The gift I prepared isn't as stylish as Isaac's."

He bent down and opened a chest, revealing its dazzling contents. "There are ten gold bars, ten pairs of gold chopsticks, ten gold bowls, and ten gold spoons here. I hope your life will be perfect in every way!"

Alina quickly shut the chest. "You shouldn't flaunt wealth like this! I'm not short on money-it's far too extravagant!"

Brandon, always the closest to Alina, clicked his tongue in mock disapproval. "You're all giving such conventional gifts! My present is one-of-a-kind, and Alina's sure to love it!"

He picked up the gift he had prepared with Angela, still unopened, and handled it as if it were a priceless treasure.

Placing it flat on the table, he covered Alina's eyes with one hand and opened the package with the other. What appeared before her was an art piece.

It was crafted from a collection of rare international commemorative coins, unavailable on the market. The coins varied in shape-round, square, and more-and came from different countries, each ancient and valuable beyond measure. This unique creation was unmistakably Brandon's style, leaving Alina deeply impressed.

Isaac and Gavin glanced at it with disdain. To them, it was a waste of perfectly good commemorative coins to arrange them in this way.

When it was Jack's turn, he smiled warmly at Alina, holding his wife Scarlett's hand. "Alina, I hope you'll like the wedding gift I've prepared for you."

He presented a set of tea ware with a grand and majestic design. The complete set of ten pieces was beautifully crafted, an unparalleled masterpiece among teapots.

Alina immediately recognized its value. "This teapot is truly a rare treasure-far too precious!"

Scarlett also stepped forward, taking Alina's hand. "Alina, I've prepared a gift for you too."

From a jewelry box, Scarlett carefully removed a white jade bracelet. Its color was translucent and radiant, with delicate, unique patterns. Made from the finest ice-grade white jade, it was both elegant and mysterious as she gently slipped it onto Alina's slender wrist.

Brandon couldn't resist teasing, "Did your whole family raid a tomb to come up with these wedding gifts for Alina?!"

Ian shot Brandon a glare sharp enough to make him flinch, nearly grabbing him by the collar.

Mimi and Kiki, the little ones, ran up to Scarlett and surrounded her. "Mommy, you still have another gift for Auntie! Hurry and bring it out!"

Alina was stunned. After all the lavish gifts her brothers and Scarlett had already given her, she couldn't believe there was more.

Scarlett looked slightly embarrassed. She hadn't planned on presenting this gift, but under everyone's eager gazes and Jack's encouragement, she relented. "Scarlett, just give it to her. Alina, don't feel awkward-think of it as encouragement for Scarlett!"

Mimi and Kiki rushed over to the gift, carefully carrying it together. Scarlett hurried to help them lift the red cloth covering it. Beneath was a wooden box containing thirty intricately shaped pastries, each emanating a faint, tantalizing aroma. The two little ones held the box in front of Alina, their soft voices chiming, "Auntie Alina, Mommy worked so hard to make these pastries! We eat them every day, and our tummies are full!"

"This batch looks the prettiest, so it must taste the best!"

Scarlett gently patted the heads of her two children, her cheeks flushing slightly.

Alina immediately picked up a pastry and took a bite. "Did you make these this morning? They taste amazing-lightly fragrant, not too sweet or greasy, just perfect!"

"Next time, teach me how to make them!"

Scarlett's embarrassment melted into joy. Hard work always paid off in the end!

Mimi and Kiki circled around Alina, reaching out for a taste. Laughing, Alina fed them.

Brandon leaned over to Ian, curiosity gleaming in his eyes. "Dad, what gift did you prepare for Alina?"

Ian promptly smacked Brandon on the head, unable to tolerate his meddling.

The sharp look in Ian's eyes made the other brothers straighten up immediately. Their father's authority was undeniable and, at times, terrifying.

From the pocket of his blue suit, Ian carefully took out a purple-patterned box and presented it to Alina.

Alina's lips parted slightly. "Dad..."

Ian's expression softened into a radiant smile, the wrinkles on his face creasing with joy. "Alina, I prepared this gift for you when you were just a little girl. I've kept it until now. But this is only a small part of what I've planned-there will be more gifts for you in the future!"

Brandon clutched his head in despair, watching Ian's transformation from stern to doting in an instant. To him, it was as if Ian had flipped a page in a book. Look at this! Every bit of his father's heart was reserved for Alina. Compared to her, the brothers were nothing more than scraps found on the roadside!

The other brothers cast sympathetic glances at Brandon.

Brandon: "You're pitying me?!"
