"Yes, I understand," Lareal replied and left with the documents. Meanwhile, Tania, having overheard this news, felt a growing unease. "Come in," Peter called out.

Tania paused, then opened the door. "How did you know I was outside?"

Peter gave a slight grin. "I sensed you."

Her cheeks flushed slightly. For once, she did not argue. Instead, she asked with concern, "Is this because of today? Did I drag you into this?"
